Jennifer Corey-Bennett BPHA, RMT, DAc.
Registered Massage Therapist, Doctor of Acupuncture, Naturopath Student.
Jennifer’s passion is patient education and helping them find a healthy balance in their lives. This passion is a driving force for Jennifer’s continued education. She is now becoming a Naturopathic Doctor.
Jennifer started on this path at the University of Toronto and graduated with a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education (9T7). She continued with Sutherland-Chan Massage Therapy Schools Inc. (99), where a passion for prenatal care and Doula support was sparked. Treating athletes, like herself, utilized her Phys. Ed. background. Jennifer enjoys hiking in the White Mountains, mountain biking and road riding as well as walking her dog. She has recently challenged herself with a duathalon and a triathalon.
When Jennifer became a Doula (labour support provider) and Reiki Practitioner this allowed her practice to specialize and expand in a new direction. After many years of specializing in prenatal/postpartum massage Jennifer found that there was a great need to support her patients that were going through fertility treatments. She went back to school and studied acupuncture at the Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Toronto, then continued with a short internship at Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China.
Jennifer’s practice is varied and she has always loved the variety of her practice, from the gardener who hurt their back, to the weekend warrior, to an elite athlete, to relaxation and prenatal/postpartum care.
